Jacobs 20 kW Wind Turbine

This large, high-quality residential grid tie turbine is quiet and easy to maintain.  It features a cut in speed of 6 mph and reaches rated production at only 26 mph.  It is controlled via a Mastermind synchronous inverter.  It outputs 240 volt AC 60 Hz one phase power.

The Jacobs offers a number of safety and reliability features including:

• blade actuated governor for overspeed control
• offest rotor axis for protection from high winds
• Dual fold tail yaw control
